APPLIED SOLUTIONS:
HITRAC EMU3 and HITRAC UTCL traffic counting devices were used, highly compact equipment, IP68, with integrated modem and built-in solar panel, housed in 75 cm high pillars. The points are powered by solar energy and communicate via GPRS/3G modem, automatically uploading data from each unit to a web-based data mining environment with lists, graphics, PDF and Excel export, etc. This is the most complete permanent traffic counting network in Peru. The entire installation of sensors, cabinets and pillars was done by KINEO technicians.
RESULT:
An average of 45-50,000 vehicles are being registered by traffic counting with volumes of up to 120,000 vehicles/day at some points. Given their size and appearance, vehicle traffic counters go completely unnoticed in urban settings and are therefore not prone to vandalism.
