APPLIED SOLUTIONS:
Installation of capacity-gauging network with ADR5000, loop-loop vehicle traffic counters and GPRS/3G communication. Each DTS is associated with a CCTV dome camera mounted on 15-metre collapsible columns and a solar power system for all the equipment, based on 280W per point panels with 4 230A batteries. KINEO installed the section’s 4 traffic counting stations in 2015. An application is included to convert data from the format of the concessionaire’s DTSs to that of the National traffic counting Service for integration in the Ministry’s traffic map.
RESULT:
The installed vehicle traffic meters are self-contained and allow monitoring of the road and traffic counting with a minimum cost in terms of communications and power supply infrastructure.
