APPLEID SOLUTIONS:
KINEO installed the four weigh stations, each with two preselected lanes with bending plates and axle discriminators for medium speed weighing, as well as a low speed axle control scale. This included a vehicle license plate recognition (LPR-ANPR) system, electronic signalling panel control and barriers.
The stations were installed in the remote, barren locations of Iquique and Pozo Almonte and, in the case of R1, by the sea; the environmental conditions are therefore very harsh and put the quality of the equipment installed to the test. Every year several hundred thousand vehicles are recorded on the systems without any breakdowns having been recorded to date.
The installed equipment includes built-in CAPTELS 10-68 scales, KINEOBP bending plates and LPR Freeway cameras from ARH HUNGARY. The software generates web-based reports according to VIALIDAD specifications.
RESULT:
Robust systems, completely adapted to Chilean regulations on weigh stations and integrated in the concessionaire’s access control centre (ACC).
