APPLIED SOLUTIONS:
KINEO has developed a complete web-based application for the management of private hire vehicles accessing Lima airport. Smartcams integrating vehicle licence plate recognition technology automatically process licence plate numbers on entry and exit and send them to the LAP virtual server. In 2017, 13 LPR lanes were installed in the upgrading of the vehicle access control system. The identification ratio is about 98-99% of the plates. The vehicle plate database is integrated into PORTALES NET, the corporate access control application.
RESULT:
KINEO is the leading supplier of vehicle licence plate recognition systems in Peru, with hundreds of thousands of movements every day and correct identification ratios in the 98-99% range.

PORTALES is Peru’s leading car park operator and has been using KINEO’s LPR solution since 2012 in all its car parks and mini car parks in Lima, with a total of 102 lanes in 2 dozen facilities.
