APPLIED SOLUTIONS:
Both stations have been equipped with bending plate preselection weighing equipment, penalty weighing with truck scale, gauge, vehicle licence plate recognition (LPR) system, electronic directionality panels, traffic lights, etc. Station management application adapted to Colombian regulations and web-based operation reports application are included. In addition, a portable CET 10-68 WIM (weigh-in-motion) scale was included for mobile controls throughout the concession.
RESULT:
Korán has a tropical climate, with average humidity indexes higher than 70% and temperatures above 30ºC. In spite of this, all the electronics have been working without any problems since 2014. For this reason, in 2016 the concessionaire again called on KINEO to install the second station of the section in Gauduas.
