APPLIED SOLUTION:
Licence plate recognition system integrated in the bank’s corporate access management system. Number plate reading cameras and servers were installed in 21 lanes at the entrances to the complex, including the visitor car parking areas.
The system sends the data to the access manager through a TCP/IP protocol developed specifically by KINEO. The architecture is robust as per customer requirements, with one processing unit for every 2 lanes and back-up hardware ready for hot swapping. The installation was carried out at the behest of PROSEGUR and SETELSA, the preferred suppliers of Banco de Santander.
RESULT:
High-availability system for one of the most demanding clients with regard to access control. It has been operating since 2010 without a single camera or processor fault, achieving the best possible performance thanks to the investment in high-end cameras, servers, power sources, etc.
