APPLIED SOLUTIONS:
In 2015, 26 KINEO installed sites in 3 regulated pedestrian areas in the old town in A Coruña. A centralised and virtualised process architecture is achieved by means of fibre optic communications with the city council’s access control centre, with only cameras with licence plate recognition (LPR-ANPR) and context image systems on the street, thus reducing potential vandalism costs.
LPR equipment does not have physical activators, which reduces installation costs. The city council uses KINEO ACCESS CONTROL for managing the profiles (access properties to each licence number) assigned to the users of the system, access control and for generating penalty proposals. In addition, this system integrates with the penalty validation tool used in the city.
KINEO’s access control system can be supplemented with video analysis systems to detect traffic signal violations, double parking and parking in loading/unloading areas, vehicle counting and classification, origin/destination matrixes, etc. In this installation there are no physical obstacles such as bollards, barriers, chains, etc., which, if installed, would also be controlled by our system.
RESULT:
Unattended access control system with virtualised centralised architecture supported by KINEO ACCESS CONTROL.
