APPLIED SOLUTION:
KINEO In 2016, KINEO installed the first low-speed automatic weigh station in Bolivia. The installation was able to optimise infrastructure costs by adapting to the extra-wide toll lane, thus making use of the entire structure (booth, control office, lane, power supply, sanitation, CCTV, etc.). The only thing required in order to certify the R300 scales at low speed (5-8 Kph) are the geometric conditions of the weighing slab, which meet Standard AST 1318-09. The weigh station includes subsystems with RFID and QR vehicle licence plate recognition (LPR), height sizing, single and double axle classifier and sensor, trailer detection, axle weight information panel, etc.
Furthermore, it runs on complete weighing control management software developed by KINEO according to ABC and VIAS BOLIVIA specifications and national weighing control regulations, including the calibration module, traffic offence management and web-based reporting.
RESULT:
The installation of a fully customised weigh station system which meets Bolivia’s national transport control standards.
