ACCESS CONTROL VIA VEHICLE LICENCE PLATE RECOGNITION (LPR-ANPR): PARKING AND FREE FLOW MODE

Kineo / ACCESS CONTROL VIA VEHICLE LICENCE PLATE RECOGNITION (LPR-ANPR): PARKING AND FREE FLOW MODE

KINEO works with different vehicle licence plate recognition equipment (OCRs) to offer the most reliable solution in each case (acquisition speed, software architecture, country, etc.). With its OCR engine at the core, KINEO has developed all the recognition logic to optimise OCR capability in highly demanding environments.

Our freeflow solution currently identifies licence plates at over 200 km/h in more than a dozen countries, and our parking mode is integrated with multiple access managers. We have client/server versions, smartcam with context image included, virtualised systems and LPR embedded in cameras for cost-effective solutions.

We work with several camera manufacturers, as none of them have the best solution for every possible environment. Our reference manufacturers are ARH, AXIS and BASLER, and we have others such as SAMSUNG, LILIN, MESSOA, CANON, etc. integrated in our licence plate recognition software.

We have virtualised solutions to adapt to corporate operating environments with optimised data centres, or we provide the process hardware when the customer requests a turnkey project.

We include the management of whitelists in the basic version of the KINEO ANPR software vehicle licence plate recognition software; when the customer needs to manage licence plate profiles, we additionally use KINEO ACCESS CONTROL, our global platform, which can integrate vehicle licence plate recognition, RFID driver identification, biometrics or document readers, images of the cargo or vehicle to avoid false damage claims, identification of the container or containers being carried, dimensions, classification, weight, etc. All this in a single database associated with a single ID per vehicle.

We currently identify vehicle licence plates on a daily basis in Spain, Portugal, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Chad, Angola, Senegal, Mali, Cape Verde, etc.
